Then back to the lowlands and Belgium then to Germany, Switzerland and Italy and back through Germany to close it out. Looking forward to seeing so many friends and meeting new ones playing all the old tunes and the new stuff too! Hope to see you there! Our tour dates and the press release is below.
What resulted is an EP every bit as immediate as the classic of the DC and NY HCX bands of yesteryear, and brings in to mind visions of MC5, Iggy and the Stooges and Foo Fighters themselves with its reaching spectrum of dynamic songwriting and supply of fresh, stunning and skin-prickling hooks. - Subba-Cultcha

District-based hardcore pioneers Scream haven’t issued a studio album since “Fumble,” which was released in 1993 but recorded years earlier. The band reunited in 2009, but “Complete Control Sessions,” one in a series of releases tied to the Complete Control Radio show, is its first
album of new material since. It’s as good a comeback vehicle as anyone might have hoped. - The Washington Post

Mid-period British punk (thinking Generation X, Ruts, Skids) is a useful reference point when it comes to the writing too: every number is handily equipped with a pronounced melodic feel and catchy rhythm guitar hook to boot. Most of these songs are anthem-like as fuh. - Your Flesh

What inspired a new recording at this stage in Scream's legacy?
Vocalist Pete Stahl: For us, it was important to record new material if we were going to play shows again. We know people that would come to see us would really just want to hear the old shit ― that's cool and understandable ― but we had to validate the reunion in our minds, so-to-speak. We live in the present and we make music to live in the now as well. We still have a lot to say. - Exclaim.ca
